Today we discovered she fits her first pair of sneakers. This was exciting for CJ and I because we share a love for nikes. It is nice that she fits into them because they offer her some added support for when she likes to stand on her feet (which is all of the time). Also...just some pics of her in a cute dress. =]

I'm a big kid now!
Lately the only thing that seems to please Bella is standing up like a big girl. We are positive she will be an early walker. She loves looking at the world on her feet. As daddy calls it, "being a people." Yes, that is right...a people.
Little Monkey
Ever since I first held my little girl I have been calling her a little monkey. Aunt Janna sent us a package full of pink monkey clothes and a monkey blankey (too cute) that is pictured here. THANK YOU AUNT JANNA!!!! I absolutely love all the monkey stuff people have been getting for us. I really think she is stuck with this nick name due to her infamous monkey face. =]

oldies but goodies
Here are the photos off of my blackberry that were taken right after Bella was born. I just uploaded them on the computer today and thought I should share them. I can't believe it has been 6 weeks since these were taken!

Sunday afternoons
This is what life is all about.
There is nothing like a rainy afternoon that entails a family nap, scooby doo, pajamas, and a beautiful baby Bella. I have discovered a whole new appreciation for life on days like this.

Our hip little girl
Those of you who have seen Bella's room know that she has quite a collection of clothes and shoes. She has all of the hip brands and fashions and she isn't even 2 months old yet. Our favorite things of hers are all of her nike onsies and nike booties. She has quite a few! Today she was sporting a nike onsie, nike booties, and a nike hat. She is too cute...I just had to show her off.

Feels like home again
This blog was from yesterday but it wouldn't post until today. =]
CJ and I are both true north westerners, we love love love the rain. There was a little drizzle today when we wanted to take Bella for a walk but that didn't mean we had to keep her inside. She has to experience Seattle weather sooner or later. We put her in her first coat and walked down to the market to refill our water jug for her formula. There is nothing more comforting than taking a family walk in the rainy weather. It is starting to feel more like home again. I love Seattle. =]

Family, Fun, and FOOD
Today was Bella's first barbeque. CJ, Bella, and I ventured over to Justin and Erin's house for a nice steak dinner and some family fun in the sun. Since the weather was nearing the 100's, we needed to get out of our tiny little apartment and enjoy the shaded yard and kiddie pool. Poor Bella was miserably hot so we ended up letting her go nakey for the day. I lathered her in baby sun block and kept her in the shade and she loved it. We even dipped her in the kiddie pool. Our goddaughter Samara (Bella's godsister) was just crazy about the baby. She played doctor with Bella and made sure she always had her binky, bottle, and blanket. It was really nice spending time with other parents...oh the conversations you have when you have kids...
Here is Bella resting outside on a blanket

Playing dress-up
Being a stay at home mom with my little princess has been so much fun. When miss Bella isn't eating or sleeping I like to put all her cute little outfits on her. Most of her clothes don't fit yet but today I found out that she is starting to fit into some of her dresses. I can't believe she is 1 month old today. Here are a couple photos of her in her green dress from Grandma B. She is such an angel and we are starting to accumulate quite a collection of photos of our little beauty queen.

She is going to get away with everything....
Bella likes to show off her bottom lip when she is feeling grumpy, and the second it starts poking out, mommy's heart melts and does everything to make her feel better. Knowing how smart miss Bella already is, I have a feeling she is going to use her little lip as a weapon later in life to score whatever it is she wants....ohh goodness.

New...
There are a couple new things going on in the life of Bella. Today was Bella's first walk in her front carrier. She loved it soooo very much. We walked to the store to get some things to make hamburgers for dinner tonight and she loved every minute in the carrier.
Also she is now starting to LOVE her binky, which isn't the best thing in the world, but it is better than sucking her thumb. She now uses her binky all the time and likes to fall asleep with it. I hope she isn't one of those kids that won't give it up when it is time! I am glad she can calm herself down without the constant help of mommy though. She is getting to be such a big girl!
4 weeks old
Time really flies when you are experiencing the best days of your life. Today our little monkey is 4 weeks old. She is getting so big! We started doing tummy time with her yesterday and she loved it. She is so strong! She ended up falling asleep on her tummy after a while hehe. Today she is going to meet my friend Brittany and later on we might go for a walk in the park. Life is just so sweet right now and I wouldn't change a thing.
P.S. Isabella is rockin' her new onsie in the picture above. She really is Daddy's little girl and CJ is such a proud father!

so pretty...
MAN she is beautiful!
This is the first time we put shoes on her!!
This is the first time we put shoes on her!!
Bella is staying at grandma and grandpa Cooper's tonight and I wanted to dress her up all cute for them...
I am going to miss her so very very much! We are so thankful that she has such wonderful grandparents that are willing to give us a break. Hopefully our first night away from her is worry-free, but we trust the Cooper grandparents with all of our hearts!

Bella's big day
Today we were blessed with a visit from family. They were all so kind to travel to Tacoma, from way up north, to love on miss Bella. The visit included Great Grandma B, Aunt Jayne (who was seeing Bella for the first time), Aunt Kelly, Cousin Kory, and Cousin Seneca (who was also seeing Bella for the first time). We had a lot of fun with the fam, but the two highlights would have to be seeing Aunt Jayne brave a diaper change and play some wii bowling!
Not bad for a beginner! GO AUNT JAYNE!
We were so delighted to finally introduce Bella to Aunt Jayne and Seneca. We really wish we lived closer to everyone. We promise to take a trip up north soon and we would love to go see Aunt Jayne out on the Island!

That's not very lady-like Bella-boo!
Our daughter is infamous for her stinky tushy. Not only does she like to "let 'em rip," but she also likes to make this face while doing it...
...somebody teach this girl some manners!
"I didn't do it!"

Our daughter is gifted!!
Ok, so we may be a bit biased, but I swear our daughter is advanced for her age. She loves interacting with her toys as you can see in this picture. She will just stare at them! If we show her a toy that makes noise, she turns to look at it.
Also, I think her smiles are sometimes more than just gas. If I talk baby talk to her she will open her mouth wide or let a little smile out. She is so smart for just 3 weeks of age!

What an angel!
Yay for Grandma and Grandpa Cooper!
Last night CJ's parents watched Isabella for a few hours so we could enjoy a nice dinner at the Outback. It was so nice to have just a few hours baby-free. It was funny how all we seemed to talk about while we were out was our daughter. Strange how that works, I can't wait for a break yet when I get one I miss her to death! When we got back to the Cooper’s house we were happy to find out that Isabella skipped her evening nap which means Mommy got a great night of sleep last night because baby was exhausted. Yay! The past week her schedule was messed up and she wanted to nap before her bed time, which made for an interesting week of sleep for mommy. But when you are woken up to the face below, you just want to make everything all better for the sweet baby girl.
