Beat The Heat!

Hot weather is a lot of fun, but when you are a baby it can really tire you out. We spent all day at the beach again yesterday and Bella got her first sunburn. Unfortunately, bathing your child in sunscreen cannot always protect baby 100%. Today we decided to try and cool off by purchasing a little baby pool for Bella to splash around in. Bella was pretty tuckered out, so she didn't last long playing in the ice cold water. We are going to give the pool another go around when Bella is well rested.

80 Degrees and Loving Every Minute

We are really soaking up the sun lately. We try to be outside as much as possible while the weather is so amazing. Bella had fun stomping and splashing at the beach today. Daddy showed her some crabs (and he even got pinched) and Bella also saw her first hermit crab. We look forward to being outdoors all weekend! Unfortunately, it took about 30 pictures to get 3 good ones due to the fact that the screen on our camera is broken. We are making it work for now.

Last weekend was amazing. CJ, our friend Jacob, and I went to Crescent Bar in eastern WA. We stayed at a friend's cabin right on the water. We had a blast on some wave runners, took the boat to bikini beach, and saw NIN and Jane's Addiction as Sasquatch! This was all thanks to my Mother for the tickets and my Grandma for the babysitter! Thank you guys sooo much! Unfortunately, during all of the fun, our camera broke! =[ This makes it very difficult to take photos for the blog. Anways, these are a couple of photos from last weekend. I also included a photo of Bella just being cute today...it is 80 degrees today so we are going to go for a walk and enjoy the sun!

My Happy Co-Sleeper

Looks like Bella will be sleeping with mommy and daddy for a little while. Her separation anxiety has been pretty bad and she will no longer sleep in her crib at night. She will nap in it during the day but I can't even try and walk in her bedroom while holding her at night. On the bright side, Bella has been a lot more happy during the day after a good night's rest with mom and dad.

200th Post - Walking Baby

Bella LOVES walking with the help of a walker. This was one of her slower starts. She is starting to get so fast. Sometimes I swear she is just going to let go and take off on her own. I am confident that she will be walking by her birthday.

Aunt Monica's Part 1

We have a ton of cute photos from going to my Aunt Monica's house yesterday. I decided all of these great photos would be a 2 part blog entry. These first few are ones that my Aunt got on her camera. We had so much fun! I got to meet my Aunt, my Uncle Steve and two of her friends. They were all such kind people and we had such a blast with them. She lives in the most beautiful location. We even got to ride the 4-wheeler while my Uncle and Bella played together. I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday!

Sleepless Nights Continue...

...thank goodness she is so darn cute and definitely worth all of the hard work. The lack of posting lately is due to the new 2 am bedtime and one tired mommy. Enjoy these pics from tonight's bath. Bella likes to walk around in the tub lately (which scares the poop out of momma, which is why daddy does bath time).

We went to Greenlake today to enjoy the sun. It was nice and relaxing =]. Bella tried to chase after every dog she saw. She is so funny, she would wave at the dogs, but not the people. We also enjoyed our very first Red Mill burger (as seen all over the food network). They were very yummy! I am enjoying my Mommy's weekend very much.

Long Week

It has been a very long week for us Coopers. Bella has decided to change her sleep schedule to wake up around 3am every night. She also no longer likes her crib. After months of perfect sleep...we are finally paying our dues. She tosses and turns until 5-6 am then she either wakes up until the afternoon or she sleeps for another hour or two. She is then cranky allll morning until she finally gets a nap. After a nap she is back to her happy self. This has been every day for the past week and a half or so. Between the lack of sleep and the cranky baby it has been exhausting. This too shall pass and we will get on a better routine again eventually. Until then, expect a decrease in postings due to the fact that Bella is majorly cranky during the day. For now, enjoy a couple of photos from today.

Bella's First Mariners Game

Grandpa and Great-Uncle Johnny took Bella to her first Mariners game on Saturday. Unfortunately they didn't win, but Bella enjoyed quality time with grandpa while mom and dad had a night out. We can't wait to take her to her second baseball game. =]

Beach Bums

Daddy was home from work today, and it is a lovely 73 degrees outside, so we decided to go to the beach. It was fun showing Bella the crabs and seagulls. It was pretty windy by the water but once we got to the grass up above the beach it was fine.
