A Play Room Fit For A Princess

The whole upstairs of our house is dedicated to miss Bella. She has two rooms, a bathroom, and a play room all to herself. Mommy loves it because she can make a mess and it is out of the adult living space. The upstairs if perfect for kids, it is quirky and reminds me of a fort or a tree house. She loves it and is currently up there watching The Lion King.

Today is the last day of Bella's weekend play-date with her best friend. They have had a ton of fun and a few good fights as usual haha. The sun was out again today, so they were able to get some outside fun in. These girls make our lives so much fun.

Popsicles On The Porch

Bella has her friend over this weekend and they have been having a blast. The whole upstairs of our house is pretty much one big play area, so it has been wonderful for us. They have been entertaining eachother almost the whole time. Yesterday was so nice that they had popsicles out on the front porch (Bella wasn't even wearing pants). And Daddy mowed the lawn for the first time while the girls were enjoying their powerpuff girls on a stick.

Welcome Back Springtime

Today was another beautiful day. It was warm enough to be outside in short sleeves! First we went to see the easter bunny and Bella got her own set of bunny ears, then we spent the rest of the day outside enjoying the sunshine.We even had the ice cream man roll through the neighborhood. Bella enjoyed a strawberry-banana Dora the Explorer ice cream bar. We had a ton of fun and we are excited for a weekend full of sunshine and lots of yard work.

It's A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and Bella wanted nothing more than to play outside of her very own house. We talked to lots of neighbors and everyone in our neighborhood has been so very kind and welcoming. We love it here! Everyone walks their dogs and plays with their kids outside. CJ even met our friendly neighborhood mailman. He walks up and down the street to deliver the mail in person. We limit Bella's play area to the front for now, because the backyard needs a good amount of weeding and clean up (which CJ started yesterday). We feel so accomplished to watch our daughter play in her own yard and on her own sidewalk. Life is great.

Home Sweet Home

We are all moved in to our new house! We absolutely love it and could not be happier! Bella was gone for 4 nights while we were moving and we have missed her SO much, we are so glad she is home! We will post more pictures once there aren't boxes everywhere. For now, here we are at our very own house! (Bella wasn't home yet, otherwise she would be in the picture too.) We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are so thankful to finally have a house to work on. Thank you to everyone that made this possible. This is a dream come true!
