Arizona was a blast. We arrived home late last night from a long, yet very fun vacation. CJ was feeling sick for a good part of the week and I started getting sick for the past couple of days so we are glad to be back home. Bella had a ton of fun in the sunshine. Her and Owen (her cousin) developed a very strong love/hate relationship but deep down I know they really care for each other in a 2 year old kind of way. Here are my favorite photos that I snapped during our week. Enjoy!

Growing Up Sometimes Means Conquering Our Biggest Fears
Bella decided that today was the day to go down the slide all by herself. She has always been afraid of the slide, and never really enjoyed going down even if joined by another person. Today we took her to the park down the road from us and she decided it was okay, even fun, to go down the slide solo. After she did it once, she wanted to do it over, and over, and over again. I was so proud!

We Love When The Forecast Is Wrong!
Bella's favorite thing to do during the day is play outside! Unfortunately, the forecast said it was going to be stormy and rainy all this week, so I was preparing for a long week of indoor activities (i.e. coloring books, puzzles, babies, cartoons, finger painting, etc.). Luckily, they were wrong. Poor Bella does not like being couped inside all day, so I am so happy whenever the sun is shining because that means a happy Bella. I am so happy that we have a nice front yard and sidewalk for Bella to play because our backyard is going to take a little time before Bella is allowed back there. Hopefully it will be safe for play time by the summer.

A Very Happy Easter
Bella had a very fun Easter. She spent the night at Nana and Papa's then came home just in time for an Easter Egg hunt in the front yard (since the back is "under construction"). She did a good job finding eggs, but then she decided that picking flowers was more fun. After her egg hunt we had Nana and Papa over for Easter dinner. The food was great and Bella was so happy to see Nana and Papa again. Now she is relaxing on the couch with her favorite cartoon, Dora the Explorer. We are thinking she we be more than ready for bed tonight, since she really played hard all day today without any naps. Happy Easter everyone.

A Very Special Easter Play-date
Bella had 2 friends over yesterday for an easter egg hunt. Both were born within weeks of Bella so it was fun to see Bella interact with kids her own age. At first, Bella was a little hesitant of other kids playing with her toys, but then Bella warmed up and joined the fun. I was astonished to see how much taller Bella was than both of them, she is definitely going to be a tall girl.
