Halloween

We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! We had a blast! We took the kids trick-or-treating around 2 neighborhoods and Bella even carried her own candy bucket to the door to get her candy. I have a feeling Halloween is going to get more fun every year!

Miss Busy Body

Just a little update on our crazy monkey...

• She loves play dough (pictured above).


• Her favorite thing to do right now is read books. Her favorites include; Five Little Monkeys, Bedtime Snoozers, and Baby Animals.



• She says "Hi" and "Bye bye" to everyone we see.



• She loves to point to the potty and say "pee pee" and "boo boo" (which gives mommy the green light that we are almost ready to embark on the potty training adventure).



• She says "brrrr" when she is cold and "hot" when she touches something hot.



• She likes to play mommy and push baby dolls around in strollers.



• She loves to be around whoever is cooking, she is fascinated with food and cooking. We are getting her a play kitchen for Christmas.



• She likes to have long conversations on the phone with her imaginary friends.



• She loves jewelry, she is always putting on bracelets, necklaces, and rings.



• Her favorite things to cuddle with are still tigger and monkey, but also Mommy's silk pajamas.

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary Celebration

My very generous aunt Laura lent us her cabin in Camano for the weekend. Bella stayed with her wonderful grandparents and didn't miss us a bit as usual haha. We ate at some great restaurants, shopped a bit, saw a sea otter, some raccoons, and a salmon, rode in a small boat, made a fire (ate some smores), and just relaxed. Wow! What a weekend! We are glad to be home because we really missed our little monkey, but our weekend was perfect and we miss it already.

Bella loves to wash her own hair now and she looks darn cute doing it.

Sorry we haven't posted in a week, our internet was down (we think it was because Bella likes to play on the computer). Here is a cute one from this morning.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Today we went to the pumpkin patch and corn maze. We decided this year was 10x better than last year. We actually found our way out of the corn maze and everyone enjoyed themselves, even Bella. She loved finding the right pumpkin to sit on and she thought the wagon was a ton of fun. We each picked out a pumpkin which we will carve later tonight. I have to say that my favorite part of the pumpkin patch was the yummy roasted corn that we all shared at the end.

Children's Museum

We had a wonderful day at the Children's Museum. Bella and Jadyn went on a ride in the firetruck, went grocery shopping, raced eachother, and drove cars, bikes, and boats...

....mommy finished off the evening with her secret boyfriend Hanibal Lecter, and Bella finished off the evening pooping in the tub and drawing on the walls with color crayon. Life is great!
