Meeting the Girls

CJ, Bella, and I went to dinner last night with my new family. It was a lot of fun. They are all so very kind. Even a sleepy Bella had fun being passed around and she really seemed to enjoy her new grandpa. We look forward to more good times with these great people!

Right on Point

True story:

CJ: "Look Bella, your cup has your name on it. See, it says Is-a-bell-a."

CJ:"Find your name Bella, find Is-a-bell-a."

CJ:"Where does it say Isabella?"

Mommy:"Oh Bella, you are so smart!"

She really pointed whenever we asked her to find her name. It was so funny. After that, she started pointing at things that she wanted. She would point at her toys, the phone, and the remote, until we would hand them to her. She is so smart.

A Little Justification

I have always called Bella my "monkey" from day one. People would ask me why I gave her such a goofy nickname. They would say, "That isn't nice," or "She isn't a monkey!" The older she gets, the more she grows into her nickname. The first food she liked was bananas. Her first noise was an "oohh oohh." And now that her hair is crazy long, sticks straight up, and is somehow red...well this picture explains it all...

Too Cool

Since we have had sun here in Tacoma for the past couple of days I broke out Bella's shades and let her try them on. What a cutie. Unfortunately we can't go outside to enjoy that sun today because Bella just came down with a cold. Hopefully it passes soon!
